Welcome to Bluebonnet Elementary, proudly serving students in grades K-5 in Lewisville ISD. The campus opened for its first class of students in 2000, and is part of the Flower Mound High School feeder pattern. From the first step into pre-k to the final walk on the graduation stage, students and families feel supported, connected and at home in Lewisville ISD.

At Bluebonnet Elementary, we believe every child deserves a place where they feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow. As the home of the Bears, our campus is rooted in a culture of kindness, high expectations, and a shared commitment to helping each student reach their fullest potential.

Our classrooms are filled with curiosity, creativity, and meaningful learning experiences that spark a love of learning and build confidence in every learner. We are dedicated to supporting each student’s academic growth while also fostering character, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging.

One of Bluebonnet’s greatest strengths is the meaningful connection shared among our students, families, and staff. Together, we create a positive, supportive environment where students feel encouraged to take risks, celebrate successes, and grow from every experience. At Bluebonnet, our Bears don’t just learn—they grow, lead, and thrive.

We are BEARS

  • Belong
  • Engage
  • Achieve
  • Rise
  • Succeed

[Bluebonnet teachers] have an outstanding passion for helping kids shine. [They] walk the extra mile to find the way to really guide and motivate [their students] to achieve their goals. We have noticed a great improvement and motivation in our child.

OUR VOICES

A young girl with braided hair wearing a pink sweater is sitting at a table and holding a colorful water bottle, surrounded by a vibrant and playful classroom environment.

[My teacher] makes learning so fun and makes me THINK! I like it when we work as a group on the whiteboards in math and when we do science experiments, especially the one with LASERS. She is good at explaining things in ways that help me understand.
